For our German speakers! The HuT in the local news

Project Update / October 20, 2025

Excerpt: We’re happy to share that The HuT and our exhibition SAFE HAVEN were recently featured in the local newspaper SHZ, highlighting how science and art meet in Glückstadt to inspire dialogue on climate change and resilience.

Read the full articles (in German):

The first article presents the SAFE HAVEN exhibition hosted at the Palais für aktuelle Kunst, featuring works by artists and local students exploring climate change through creative expression. The second article recounts The HuT’s annual meeting in Glückstadt, where over 70 researchers from across Europe gathered to discuss systemic risks and climate extremes bridging scientific research and public engagement through art and local participation.

Both of the articles are written by Anke Schlünsen-Rico M.A.

Together, these features celebrate how The HuT connects people, technology, and creativity to foster awareness and dialogue on climate resilience.
