Excerpt: The HuT takes part to Societal Resilience Cluster in a Stakeholder Forum in Brussels

On September 28th, CORE project will be gathering policymakers, researchers, civil protection representatives, and sister projects from the Societal Resilience Cluster in a Stakeholder Forum in Brussels to discuss the topic of ‘Enhancing collaboration and transfer from research to policymakers in the DRR context‘.

The aim of the event is to better understand how to foster the update of research outputs into the policymaking processes. The topic will be addressed through a series of thematic panel discussions about

  • strategies for increasing societal resilience,
  • favoring communities engagement,
  • bridging the gap between scientists and policymakers.

The HuT together with some sister projects (CORE, RiskPACC, LINKS, PARATUS) will take part to the panel entitled SRC cluster projects and policy makers: what has been and can be done to increase cooperation.

It will be a great opportunity to exchange experiences with projects that deal with similar challenges and discuss how to better support cross-project collaboration.
