Multi-hazard DRR Academy for Young Researchers and Practitioners

The Academy aims to bring together around 30/40 Early-Career Researchers (ECRs) and Early-Career Practitioners (ECPs) to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing in multi-hazard Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). Participants will engage in various interactive formats, including thematic break-out workshops, hands-on activities, and a field excursion to observe the impacts of multi-hazard events.
Key Highlights:
- Interactive Workshops: Led by participants with support from senior scientists.
- Field Excursion: Observing the impacts of multi-hazard events in coastal areas north of Barcelona and the Tordera basin.
- Scientific and Social Activities: Including a Serious Game night and networking events.
- Soft-skill Workshops: Enhancing science communication, data management, and collaboration capabilities.

The Academy is organized by a consortium of four European projects (PARATUS, MYRIAD-EU, The HuT, and DIRECTED), ensuring a diverse and enriching program.
