The HuT Annual Meeting 2024 – A Platform for Progress and Future Plans

This year’s meeting featured diverse activities, including updates on the Demonstrators and their progress, as well as the much-anticipated International DRR Nexus Forum (I and II). These sessions explored synergies and best practices for disaster risk reduction (DRR), fostering collaboration across global initiatives.

Looking ahead, the consortium deliberated on duties related to the project review term, which concludes in May 2025. These discussions were enriched by a deep dive into the Swiss disaster risk management system, offering valuable insights into one of Europe’s most robust frameworks.

Another highlight was the session on The HuT Key Exploitable Results (KERs), moderated by Erica Moresco, where the group aligned on maximizing the project’s impact and dissemination strategies for the upcoming months.

As the HuT project moves forward, this meeting reaffirmed the consortium’s dedication to fostering impactful outcomes and addressing global challenges in DRR through innovation and partnership.
