The HuT video is out!
News release / June 27, 2023
The presentation video can be viewed here.
The video focuses on what The HuT project (The Human-Tech Nexus) wants to achieve in the next few years: it will develop innovative disaster risk reduction (DRR) solutions to cope with climate extremes.
Thanks to the multi-disciplinary experience of our consortium, new tools and solutions will be tested in 10 demonstrators around Europe with the aim of developing the best set of trans-disciplinary and high transferrable risk management tools.
The video plays with captivating visuals and imagery mixing animations and real-life footage of cities involved in the project. The viewers will see images of several climate extremes such as floods, forest fires and landslides that will be controlled and reduced thanks to the new tools and warning systems developed within The HuT project.
As final goal, The HuT wants to help cities and communities throughout Europe to be prepared and, ideally, prevent climate extremes from happening.
